金千雪的研究聚焦于健康传播领域，关注社会化媒体如何塑造公众的健康认知、健康行为以及健康信息在社会网络中的传播模式；擅长运用内容分析法、问卷法、访谈法、社会网络分析等方法，探究社会化媒体平台上的健康信息扩散与社群互动机制。

Qianxue Jin contributes to several public health research initiatives, including the Media Advocacy Initiative for the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), Malaria Control, Road Safety, and Public Health Care.

His research primarily focus on health communication, with a particular attention on how social media influences public health perceptions, behaviors, and the diffusion of health information within social networks. Using a multi-method approach—including content analysis, surveys, in-depth interviews, and social network analysis—he examines the dynamics of health information dissemination and community interaction on social media platforms.
