中心拥有来自媒体传播、公共健康及计算机科学领域的跨学科项目团队。中心主任王秀丽博士是媒介效果研究和社会化媒体领域的专家，拥有政治学、经济学、传播学的中美教育背景。项目团队的万小军教授是数据挖掘和自然语言处理方向领先的学者，曾多次获得国家自然科学基金项目、发表了大量数据挖掘和网络舆情分析的文章。

王秀丽

北京大学新媒体研究院/新闻与传播学院副教授，北京大学社会化媒体研究中心主任，主要研究领域为国际传播、健康传播、社会化媒体等，已出版Winning American Hearts and Minds: China’s Image Building Efforts in the 21st Century，China in the Eyes of the Japanese两本英文专著，和《健康传播：理论与实践》《日本人眼中的中国形象》《微行大益——社会化媒体时代的公益变革与实践》等中文教材和专著，并在国内外学术刊物上发表中英文论文四十余篇。王秀丽先后就读于北京大学国际关系学院、北京大学新闻与传播学院和美国雪城大学（Syracuse University），分别获得法学学士学位、文学硕士学位与大众传播学博士学位。

Xiuli (Charlene) Wang is an associate professor in the School of New Media/School of Journalism and Communication, and director of the Center for Social Media Research, Peking University. Her research interests include social media, health communication，and international communication. She has published in both English and Chinese journals such as Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, Computers in Human Behavior, Chinese Journal of Communication. Her recent published books areHealth Communication: Theory and Practice,China in the eyes of Japanese,Winning American Hearts and Minds: China’s Image Building Effects in the 21st Century, andSocial Media for Social Good: Cases and Best Practices. She holds a doctoral degree in mass communication from S. I. Newhouse School of Public communication, Syracuse University, a master’s degree in communication, and double bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations, all from Peking University.
